What is Nu Health?
Nu Health is a premium wellness sanctuary in Hull and East Riding.
It brings together wellness facilities, Pilates classes, massage therapy, healthy food and drinks, relaxation spaces and access to Nu Skn aesthetics in one place.

What is included in the Wellness Suite?
The Nu Health Wellness Suite includes a range of facilities designed to help you relax, recover and reset. Facilities may include:
Full spectrum infrared sauna, Ice bath therapy, Jacuzzi and hydrotherapy, Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF red light therapy sauna dome & Relaxation area

What is Hot Pilates?
Hot Pilates is a Pilates-style class carried out in a heated studio.
The heat can help your muscles feel warmer and more mobile, while the movements help build strength, balance, flexibility and control.
It is a good option if you want a low-impact class that still feels energising and challenging.
What massage treatments are available?
Nu Health offers massage therapy in a calm wellness setting.
Current treatment options include: Rejuvenate Massage – a relaxing massage designed to help ease tension and help you feel restored. Lymphatic MLD Massage – a gentle massage designed to support the lymphatic system and help with fluid movement, puffiness and recovery.
If you are unsure which massage is right for you, the team can help you choose.
What should I bring for Pilates?
For Nu Core Pilates, wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
You may also want to bring:
Water bottle, Grip socks, if required, Towels (especially for Hot Pilates) & a change of clothes if needed
If any equipment is needed, the team will let you know before your class.
Can I hire Nu Health for a private event?
Private hire or exclusive access may be available.
This could be suitable for small groups, wellness events, corporate wellbeing sessions, private celebrations or people who want a more personal wellness experience.

What is Nu Core Pilates?
Nu Core is the Pilates studio inside Nu Health.
It offers Hot Pilates and Reformer Pilates classes in a calm, premium studio space. Classes are designed to help you build strength, improve flexibility, support posture and move with more confidence.
Nu Core is suitable for a range of abilities, including beginners.
Can I use the Detox Café without using the facilities?
This will depend on the access rules set by Nu Health.
The Detox Café is designed as part of the Nu Health experience, giving you somewhere to refuel before or after Pilates, the Wellness Suite, massage therapy or Nu Skn treatments.
Please check with the team for current access details, opening times and menu availability.
Are the Wellness Suite treatments suitable for everyone?
Some treatments may not be suitable for everyone.
If you are pregnant, have heart or circulation concerns, have a medical condition, have recently had surgery, or are unsure whether a treatment is right for you, please speak to the Nu Health team before booking.
For some treatments, such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, ice bath therapy or heat-based treatments, a suitability check may be needed.
Is Nu Skn part of Nu Health?
Yes. Nu Skn will be based at the same site as Nu Health.
Nu Skn will still have its own website, where you can view treatment details and make bookings. The Nu Health website will include a one-page overview with links through to the Nu Skn website.

Do I need to be a member to visit Nu Health?
Not always. Nu Health offers membership options for people who want to visit regularly, but day passes and selected individual bookings may also be available.
If you want regular access to the Wellness Suite, Pilates classes and other facilities, a membership may be the best option. If you want to try Nu Health first, a day pass may be a good place to start.
Is Reformer Pilates suitable for beginners?
Yes, Reformer Pilates can be suitable for beginners.
The reformer machine may look a little different at first, but it is designed to support controlled, low-impact movement. Classes can help you build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility and feel more confident in how your body moves.
If you are new to Pilates, speak to the team and they can help you choose the right class.
What food and drinks are available in the Detox Café?
The Nu Health Detox Café offers healthier food and drink choices designed to support your wellness routine.
Options may include smoothies, protein shakes, matcha, fresh juices, coffee, açai bowls, protein bagels, eggs, toast options, healthy snacks and light bites.

What should I bring for the Wellness Suite?
This may depend on the facilities you are using. As a guide, you may need:
Swimwear, A towel, Comfortable clothing, Water bottle, Toiletries (if needed) & Suitable footwear for walking around the facility
